SmallPC Computers is excited to offer 4G/LTE connectivity as an option for all of our sealed units (SDC all-in-one PCs, SC215ML, and SC240ML).

Utilizing a USB 3.0 to M.2 interface, the modem is capable of LTE Cat 6 speeds of up to 300Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speeds. The module also supports Qualcomm’s location technology which provides dependable GPS positioning.

The LTE modem is mounted securely inside our rugged/sealed units and connects to 3 external sealed antennas for extended range.

We have also designed a custom C-size connector (same size as our other sealed connectors) that incorporates a push-push nano SIM connector for easy insertion of the SIM card and a dust cap for total waterproofing.

The LTE offering is available with all the standard frequency bands worldwide. If you would like to place an order for a modem outside of North America, contact our sales team so we can select the appropriate module with frequencies made for your country/zone.

Other features of the LTE offering include hot plug capability (fast re-connection after SIM removal and re-insertion without rebooting) and special drivers to enable native Windows 10/11 cellular management. On request we can also adjust registry settings to prioritize the LTE connection over other network connections (Windows automatically prioritizes wired and Wifi connections over LTE).

The LTE connectivity is a welcome addition to our suite of rugged, waterproof and industrial products and expands our products’ ability to be deployed anywhere in the world.
